Cornish Beaches - 10 of the quietest, remotest & most beautiful locations

There’s a huge storm blowing in across the South West today and snuggled up in my Exmoor garret I am thinking about the days I have spent climbing down to inaccessible and beautiful Cornish beaches.

Here are ten I can share with you….

Porthzennor Cove, near Zennor, West Penwith

Duckpool, north of Bude

Kiberick Cove, east of Nare Head, Roseland Peninsula

Tregardock Beach, north coast near Delabole

Mill Bay, or Nanjizal, south of Land’s End

Between Porthtowan and Chapel Porth (tidal - disappears completely when tide is in)

Polridmouth, west of Fowey - of Daphne Du Maurier fame

Portnadler Bay, west of Looe

Great Lantic Bay, east of Polruan

Diggory’s Island, north of Bedruthan Steps, North Coast
