Open Days and the Food and Drink Tastings Due to Return
And I went to my first open day in over a year this week - it was down at lovely Sharpham on the Dart below Totnes where they were showing off both the wine and the cheese made on the estate.
Here’s a short video of the occasion to give you a taster - and I will be adding a proper script to this page after my article has appeared in the Western Morning News.
You could argue that never have open days and tastings been more important. So many within the food and drink industry have a lot of catching up to do - and the easing of lockdown this summer should provide an ideal window of opportunity with record numbers of visitors already booked for accommodation across the South West. So expect to see plenty of tasting events and open days staged around the region in the coming months.
